In a world where human memories are harvested as a physical, glowing amber currency called Retros, an archivist named Vane uncovers a stolen memory that does not belong to any living person. This anomaly reveals that the city's ruling high-council is systematically deleting entire decades of collective history to hide a colossal, world-eating parasite sleeping beneath the foundations. The Concept and Rules of the WorldRetros (Amber Currency): Memories crystallized upon death or extracted via precise surgical extraction. High-value memories (joy, profound epiphanies) buy luxury; traumatic or mundane ones fuel basic city infrastructure. The Blank Years: A recurring historical blackout where the sky turns a stark, paper-white, and people forget how to lie for exactly 24 hours. The Archivists: A caste of blind monks and scribes who translate raw amber into text logs, forbidden from tasting or viewing the memories they process.Main CharactersVane Sterling: A low-tier Auditor with cracked glass lenses implanted in his eyes, allowing him to see the "weight" of a person's remaining lifespan through their residual amber glow.Lyra: A "Smudger"—an illegal black-market artisan who alters memories in raw amber using heat and fine needles, carrying a personal vendetta against the Council. The Councilor of Salt: An enigmatic antagonist who wears a mask made of fused, unreadable amber shards, representing the bureaucratic weight of absolute, curated forgetting.Narrative Arc and TwistsIntroduction: Vane discovers a dark, heavy amber block in the sub-archives. When his optical lens accidentally fractures against it, he experiences the memory of the city being built over a writhing, colossal entity—not by human hands, but by the entity itself, which secretes memory-amber as a byproduct of its digestion.Development: Vane teams up with Lyra to trace the origin of the block. They find out that the "Blank Years" are not a glitch, but the creature waking up, blinking, and resetting human consciousness to keep humanity complacent. The Twist: The city isn't a cage protecting humans from the monster; humanity is the mental flora grown inside the creature's stomach, and the ruling Council are simply enzymes keeping the host asleep. Vane realizes his own childhood memories were manufactured by the Council to act as a biological tripwire.

Create a cinematic 2D anime scene about seven house cats who secretly communicate with each other, while humans cannot understand them.

The main characters are:

* Stormy — a gray-and-white tomcat, the natural leader, intelligent, brave, and strategic.
* Tiger — a large brown Maine Coon, gentle, fearless, relaxed, and curious.
* Tinkerbell — the oldest cat, a cross-eyed Siamese with a wise, slightly eccentric personality.
* Cheese — an orange-and-white cat, loud, confident, and the matriarch of the group.
* Hazy — a calico cat, daughter of Stormy and Cheese, playful but observant.
* Daisy — a shy, skittish cat who stays close to the others.
* Baby — a mischievous young cat who constantly annoys the other cats but is still part of the family.

Opening scene: nighttime inside a veterinary clinic. All seven cats are together inside a large roomy animal cage. The clinic is quiet and dimly lit, with fluorescent lights, metal examination tables, carriers, and shadows stretching across the floor.

A dog suddenly causes a distraction in the waiting room. Stormy notices that the cage door was closed but never properly locked. He quietly pushes against it and realizes they can escape.

Stormy looks back at the other six cats. His expression changes from cautious to determined.

The cats silently communicate through expressive looks, subtle movements, and anime-style reactions. Stormy leads them out of the cage one by one.

They sneak through the dark veterinary clinic, avoiding humans, then burst through an exit and run into the cool nighttime wilderness outside.

Cut to a wide cinematic shot of the seven cats standing together beneath the moonlight in a quiet nature area. Trees move gently in the wind. The cats look small against the huge landscape.

Stormy looks toward the forest, then back at his family.

The group begins walking together into the darkness.

Atmosphere: cozy found-family adventure mixed with mysterious nighttime freedom. Emotional, atmospheric, slightly funny, but not overly childish.

Visual style: high-quality modern Japanese anime, expressive hand-drawn characters, detailed backgrounds, cinematic lighting, subtle film grain, beautiful moonlight, dramatic camera movements, natural cat behavior, detailed fur, strong facial expressions, fluid animation, 16:9 widescreen.

Do not make the cats talk with human mouths. Their communication should be conveyed through expressions, body language, and subtle anime-style visual cues. Humans should behave as if they only hear normal cat sounds.

A young foreign student named Jeremy Benites arrives in Japan to begin a new life. Jeremy is 1.78 meters tall, with dark wavy hair styled in a modern mohawk haircut and light brown eyes. He has a youthful, athletic appearance and a calm, observant personality. He wears a Japanese high-school uniform and carries a backpack.

Chapter 1: A New Beginning.

Morning in Japan. Jeremy walks alone through a Japanese city on his way to his new school. He looks around curiously at the streets, buildings, bicycles and other students. He is unfamiliar with his new surroundings but remains calm and thoughtful.

Jeremy arrives at his new high school. He pauses outside the school entrance, takes a deep breath and enters.

Inside the classroom, the teacher introduces Jeremy to the other students. Jeremy stands in front of the class and politely introduces himself.

Jeremy: "My name is Jeremy Benites. I hope we can get along."

Jeremy sits beside a window. During class, he looks outside and notices the school's soccer field. Several students are training.

Jeremy becomes interested immediately.

Jeremy: "Soccer..."

During the break, Jeremy hears students talking about the school soccer team. Curious, he goes outside to watch the training.

At the soccer field, Jeremy watches the players practice passing, dribbling and ball control. He quietly analyzes their movements.

A soccer ball suddenly rolls out of the field and stops at Jeremy's feet.

A player calls out:

Player: "Hey! Can you pass the ball back?"

Jeremy smiles and makes a precise pass directly to the player.

The player is impressed.

Player: "Good pass. Do you play soccer?"

Jeremy: "Yes."

Player: "What position?"

Jeremy: "Usually midfield."

The player introduces himself as Daichi and invites Jeremy to try out for the team.

Daichi: "You should try out with us."

Jeremy looks toward the soccer field and thinks for a moment.

Jeremy: "Maybe. I just arrived, so I still need to get used to the school."

The school bell rings. Jeremy says goodbye to Daichi and returns toward the building.

Before entering, Jeremy looks back at the soccer field.

Jeremy smiles.

Jeremy: "Maybe coming here wasn't such a bad idea."

Final wide shot of the school and soccer field in the afternoon sunlight.

Narration: "Jeremy did not know it yet, but this small moment would be the beginning of a completely new chapter in his life."

Primer Arco — Escena 1: Las huellas

No sobrenatural.

Solo demasiado profundo.

Huellas.

Se agachó.

No eran antiguas.

Create the opening scene of a realistic Japanese Shounen manga drama.

Scene 1 — "Grandfather's Hammer"

The story takes place in modern-day Tokyo, Japan, inside an old traditional Japanese blacksmith workshop attached to a small wooden house.

The main character is Ryu, a 29-year-old Japanese man. He is tall and lean, with a slender athletic build, short slightly messy black hair, dark brown eyes, and a calm, thoughtful expression. He is wearing simple dark indigo Japanese work clothes and a worn brown leather blacksmith apron. His hands show subtle signs of years of metalworking.

Ryu is standing alone in front of a heavy, old iron anvil inside the workshop.

He is forging a piece of glowing red-hot iron with a traditional blacksmith hammer.

Panel 1:
Wide establishing shot of the old Japanese workshop. Dark wooden walls, low ceiling, traditional blacksmith tools, old forge, charcoal, heavy iron anvil. Ryu is working alone in the center of the workshop. Warm orange light from the forge contrasts with the dark surroundings.

Panel 2:
Medium shot of Ryu raising the old hammer above the anvil. His face is calm and focused. Sweat and subtle traces of charcoal are visible on his skin. The atmosphere is quiet and intimate.

Panel 3:
Close-up of the hammer striking the glowing metal on the anvil. A small burst of bright sparks flies from the metal. Show highly detailed iron, sparks, charcoal and realistic blacksmithing textures.

Panel 4:
Ryu has stopped working and is holding the old hammer in his hand. He looks toward an old framed photograph hanging on the wooden wall. The photograph shows his deceased grandfather, an elderly Japanese man with white hair and a deeply wrinkled face.

Ryu has a subtle emotional smile as he looks at the photograph.

The final panel should feel nostalgic and mysterious, suggesting that the old hammer belonged to his grandfather.

Visual style:
Realistic seinen manga, cinematic Japanese drama, detailed black and white manga artwork with controlled grayscale shading, realistic anatomy, expressive but subtle facial expressions, strong chiaroscuro lighting, detailed backgrounds, realistic metal textures, cinematic composition, professional manga paneling, emotional atmosphere.

Do not make it comedic.
Do not use fantasy elements.
Do not use samurai armor.
Do not make Ryu muscular.
Do not make Ryu look like a teenager.
Do not use anime-style exaggerated eyes.
Do not add unnecessary characters.
No text outside the manga dialogue/captions.

She has a petite, elegant hourglass figure with a small waist and feminine curves. Good size boobs and waist but very classy and elegant. She is not very tall. Her face is slightly long-shaped but soft and cute. She wears a pretty pink dress with a modest neckline and full chest coverage, elegant and feminine.

The boy: very tanned skin, short dark hair with slightly spiky/curly hair at the front, warm dark-brown eyes that are more open in shape, a beautiful smile, and a muscular build. Specially big biceps but not super extra. He is not tall and is only slightly taller than her. His face is kind, warm, and gentle. He wears a simple black shirt with jeans.

The story flows naturally from one moment into the next: First, they are at a colorful arcade playing Tekken together. They are both holding controllers the old school machines not controllers and completely focused on the game. She is laughing because he almost never wins, while he is intensely concentrating and determined to finally beat her. She torts at him “ahah I won again!” And he replies “just wait!”

Later, they are at home in their kitchen. He is cooking chicken curry for her while she watches. She comes up behind him and hugs him while he cooks. He asks her, “How does it smell?” She playfully smells him instead and says, “Hmm… you smell good.” He laughs and says “hey the chicken not me”

Later that night, they sit together on a wooden bridge over a large, peaceful pond beneath a beautiful star-filled sky. They sit close together and talk for hours about God, faith, and God’s love, sharing their thoughts and dreams with each other. The atmosphere is peaceful and deeply connected.

Finally, they walk home together underneath the stars, each holding an ice cream. They are still talking and laughing. He jokingly complains that her ice cream always tastes better and she says I know the best and he says it’s not fair

The overall feeling should be that these simple, ordinary moments are becoming precious memories of their life together. Very romantic, soft, warm, wholesome, intimate, playful, and nostalgic. Beautiful manga artwork, expressive faces and body language, cinematic composition, detailed environments, soft lighting, and strong visual storytelling. Make the characters’ appearances consistent in every moment. I want for it to look very romantic and soft, very beautiful and classy anime style
Primer Arco — Escena 1: Las huellas

No sobrenatural.

Solo demasiado profundo.

Huellas.

Se agachó.

No eran antiguas.

— Impossible. Mon planning est parfaitement optimisé.
Elle retient un rire.
— Oui… bien sûr.
Elle pense intérieurement :
Tu n’es pas prêt pour Missy…
Sheldon s’assoit.
— Petit déjeuner ?
Penny attrape sa main.
— Avant… j’ai une autre idée.
Sheldon incline la tête.
— Une idée ?
— Oui. Une séance privée du matin.
Sheldon reste silencieux.
— Statistiquement… cela perturbe mon planning.
— Exactement.
Elle se lève.
— Viens.
Elle marche vers la salle de bain.
Sheldon soupire.
— Ma routine est déjà compromise.

06h18 — Appartement de Sheldon
Pendant ce temps,
Leonard Hofstadter se réveille.
Il regarde autour.
— Sheldon ?
Silence.
Il sort.
Appartement vide.

Missy arrive aujourd’hui.
Surprise pour Sheldon.
Mission séduction.
Howard se redresse.
— Il faut que je fasse bonne impression.
Il prend son téléphone.
— Raj.

06h32 — Appartement de Raj Koothrappali
Le téléphone sonne.
— Allô ?
— Shopping. Urgent.
— Pour Missy ?
— Oui.
Raj saute du lit.
— J’arrive.

07h05 — Devant l’immeuble
Howard arrive.
Raj arrive aussi.
Ils parlent à voix basse.
— Sheldon n’est pas au courant ?
— Non. Surprise totale.
— Elle vient vraiment pour lui ?
— Oui. Penny nous l’a confirmé.
Raj sourit.
— Leonard va paniquer.
Howard rit.
— Sheldon va bug.
Ils marchent.

07h40 — Centre commercial
Howard regarde une chemise.
— Trop ?
Raj grimace.
— Oui.
Raj en montre une autre.
— Ça c’est mieux.
— Plus mature ?
— Oui. Missy va remarquer.
Howard sourit.
— On doit l’aider.

Penny sourit.
— Tu survivras.
Sheldon s’assoit.
— Je dois recalculer ma journée.
— Oui… tu devrais.
Elle cache son sourire.

08h45 — Centre commercial
Howard et Raj sortent avec sacs.
— Nouvelle tenue.
— Nouvelle attitude.
— On aide Missy.
— Mission acceptée.

08h58 — Appartement de Penny
Sheldon boit son café.
Penny l’observe discrètement.
— Tu te sens comment ?
— Fatigué mais fonctionnel.
— Parfait.
Elle murmure :
— Tu vas avoir une surprise…
Sheldon ne remarque rien.
La matinée continue.
Missy n’est pas encore arrivée.
Mais tout est prêt pour l’explosion.

PAHINA 1 — RAFAEL AT DON BENITO

Nick: “Rafael! Halika, sumama ka sa amin ngayong gabi!”

Rafael: “Sige, Nick. Saglit lang ako.”

PAHINA 2 — SA GABI

Nick: “Maglibang muna tayo, Rafael. Huwag mong isipin ang mga problema mo.”

Rafael: “Sige.

PAHINA 5 — SETO AT LIGAYA

Seto: “Baka gusto niyang makatulong.”

PAHINA 6 — RAFAEL AT MARGARITA

Rafael: “Sana ganoon kadali.”

PAHINA 7 — RAFAEL AT NICK

PAHINA 8 — LIGAYA AT ALING SELA

Aling Sela: “Ligaya, kailangan nating magpatuloy.”

Ligaya: “Ikaw?”

Rafael: “Oo. Matagal kong itinago ang katotohanan.”

Aling Sela: “Bakit ngayon mo lamang sinabi?”

MANGA — CHAPTER 1
“The Guy Nobody Knows”
SCENE 1 — SCHOOL — MORNING
[EXT. SCHOOL — MORNING]
Students enter through the school gates, talking and laughing.
CAPTION:
 Monday morning.
[INT. CLASSROOM]
The classroom is already noisy.
Akira sits at his desk near the back, looking out the window. He is quiet and keeps to himself.
The classroom door suddenly opens.
RIKU:
 AKIRAAAA!
Akira slowly turns around.
AKIRA:
 You're loud.
RIKU:
 Good morning to you too!
Riku walks over and drops into the seat beside him.
RIKU:
You ready for basketball after school?
AKIRA:
 Probably.
RIKU:
 "Probably"? We're destroying them today!
AKIRA:
 You said that last week.
RIKU:
And this time I mean it!
Akira gives him a blank stare.

SCENE 2 — AIRI ARRIVES
The classroom suddenly becomes louder.
Airi walks in with her group of friends.
Several students notice her.
STUDENT 1:
 Isn't that Airi Nakamura?
STUDENT 2:
Yeah. She's in the modeling club.
Airi laughs and talks with her friends as they walk into the classroom.
Riku looks over.
RIKU:
 There goes the celebrity.
Akira barely looks up.
AKIRA:
 Who?
Riku stares at him.
RIKU:
You seriously don't know who she is?
AKIRA:
 No.
RIKU:
 How do you not know?
Akira shrugs.
Airi takes her seat.
She notices Akira sitting near the back.
She has seen him around school before, but they've never actually spoken.

SCENE 3 — LUNCH
The classroom is noisy during lunch.
Riku is eating while talking.
RIKU:
I'm telling you, if you pass to me today, we're winning.
AKIRA:
 You missed three shots yesterday.
RIKU:
 Those were warm-up shots!
Akira gives a small smile.
Airi notices from across the room.
AIRI — THINKING:
 He actually smiles?
After a moment, Airi walks over to Akira.
AIRI:
 Hey.
Akira looks up.
AKIRA:
 Hey.
AIRI:
 You're Ichine Akira, right?
AKIRA:
 Yeah.
AIRI:
I've seen you around, but we've never actually talked.
AKIRA:
 That's true.
Riku looks between them with a suspicious grin.
RIKU — THINKING:
 Oh?
AIRI:
 I'm Airi Nakamura.
AKIRA:
 I know.
Airi looks surprised.
AIRI:
 You know me?
AKIRA:
 Everyone knows you.
Riku starts laughing.
RIKU:
HAHA! Akira actually knows who someone is!
Akira looks at him.
AKIRA:
 Shut up.

SCENE 4 — AFTER SCHOOL
The final bell rings.
Students begin leaving.
Riku grabs his bag.
RIKU:
 Come on! Sports club!
AKIRA:
 You're going to be late.
RIKU:
 Then stop talking and move!
AKIRA:
 You're the one talking.
They leave together.
Airi leaves with her own group of friends.
She looks back toward Akira for a moment before continuing with her friends.

SCENE 5 — AKIRA'S SECRET
[INT. AKIRA'S ROOM — NIGHT]
Akira sits down at his computer.
He puts on his headset.
His entire attitude changes.
The calm, quiet student from school is gone.
On the monitor:
USERNAME: SCORPION
STATUS: ONLINE
Akira cracks his fingers.
AKIRA:
 Finally.
A ranked match begins.
An opponent speaks through voice chat.
OPPONENT:
 You're finished.
Akira smirks.
AKIRA:
 Sure.
A moment later, Akira starts dominating the match.
AKIRA:
 Keep talking.
The opponent becomes frustrated.
Akira wins.
GAME:
 VICTORY
Akira leans back in his chair.
AKIRA:
 Too easy.
CAPTION:
At school, nobody knows who Ichine Akira really is.
CUT TO BLACK.

Y con mejor servicio.
La puerta se cierra. Luces bajas. Música suave. Risas.

ADRIAN
Entonces… ¿empezamos la reunión de equipo?
Fundido a negro.

Pagi itu, Reno berjalan menuju Aoyama High School seperti biasa.

Reno (dalam hati):
"Semester baru sudah dimulai... Semoga tahun ini berjalan dengan tenang."

Saat memasuki gerbang sekolah, Reno melihat seorang gadis berdiri sendirian di bawah pohon sakura.

Rambutnya bergerak perlahan tertiup angin.

Itu adalah Yuki.

Reno tanpa sengaja berhenti.

Reno (dalam hati):
"Yuki..."

Tiba-tiba Yuki menoleh ke arahnya.

Mata mereka bertemu.

Reno langsung gugup dan memalingkan wajah.

Yuki:
"Selamat pagi, Reno."

Reno terkejut.

Reno:
"E-eh? Kau tahu namaku?"

Yuki tersenyum kecil.

Yuki:
"Kita satu kelas, kan? Tentu saja aku tahu."

Reno (dalam hati):
"Dia... mengingat namaku?"

Bel sekolah berbunyi.

Yuki:
"Kita harus segera masuk."

Reno:
"I-iya!"

---

Di Dalam Kelas

Guru masuk dan membawa sebuah pengumuman.

Guru:
"Minggu depan, sekolah akan mengadakan Festival Budaya."

Semua murid langsung menjadi bersemangat.

Murid:
"Festival sekolah!"

Guru:
"Setiap kelompok harus bekerja sama untuk menyiapkan acara."

Kemudian guru mulai membagi kelompok.

Reno melihat daftar kelompok di papan.

Tiba-tiba ekspresinya berubah.

Reno (dalam hati):
"Jangan bilang..."

Di kelompoknya tertulis sebuah nama.

Kelompok 3:

- Reno
- Yuki
- Haru
- Mika

Reno menatap Yuki.

Yuki juga melihat daftar itu.

Yuki:
"Sepertinya kita satu kelompok."

Reno:
"I-iya..."

Yuki tersenyum.

Yuki:
"Aku senang bisa bekerja sama denganmu."

Wajah Reno langsung memerah.

---

Setelah Sekolah

Kelompok mereka mulai berdiskusi di ruang kelas.

Haru dan Mika sedang sibuk membicarakan dekorasi.

Sementara Reno dan Yuki duduk bersebelahan.

Suasana terasa canggung.

Reno:
"Jadi... menurutmu acara apa yang bagus?"

Yuki:
"Hmm... mungkin kafe?"

Reno:
"Kafe?"

Yuki:
"Iya. Kita bisa membuat kafe kecil dengan tema musim semi."

Reno tersenyum.

Reno:
"Itu ide yang bagus."

Yuki terlihat sedikit terkejut.

Yuki:
"Kau benar-benar berpikir begitu?"

Reno:
"Tentu saja."

---

Saat Pulang

Hujan tiba-tiba turun.

Reno berdiri di depan sekolah sambil melihat langit.

Reno:
"Aku lupa membawa payung..."

Tiba-tiba sebuah payung muncul di atas kepalanya.

Reno menoleh.

Yuki berdiri di sampingnya.

Yuki:
"Kita pulang bersama saja."

Reno terdiam.

Reno:
"B-boleh?"

Yuki:
"Kenapa tidak?"

Mereka mulai berjalan bersama di bawah satu payung.

Reno berusaha menyembunyikan rasa gugupnya.

Kemudian Yuki tiba-tiba bertanya.

Yuki:
"Reno..."

Reno:
"Ya?"

Yuki:
"Apa ada seseorang yang kau sukai?"

Reno langsung berhenti berjalan.

Reno:
"EHH?!"

Yuki menatapnya dengan penasaran.

Yuki:
"Kenapa kau terlihat begitu panik?"

Reno:
"T-tidak ada apa-apa!"

Yuki tertawa kecil.

Namun, beberapa detik kemudian, ekspresinya berubah menjadi serius.

Yuki:
"Aku juga... menyukai seseorang."

Reno terdiam.

Reno (dalam hati):
"Siapa... orang yang dia sukai?"

Mereka terus berjalan dalam diam.

Panel terakhir:

This is a realistic, emotional slice-of-life romance manga based on a true story.

The story begins under a bridge. The boy is walking from the left side underneath the bridge when he notices a beautiful girl approaching from the right side of the road outside the bridge. She is casually walking while talking on her phone, wearing a baggy two-piece outfit. The boy looks at her and quietly thinks, “So beautiful.” She walks past him nonchalantly, unaware of the impression she has made on him.

Some time later, the boy unexpectedly sees the same girl walking inside his house. Shocked and confused, he asks his mother, “Is there a new girl who is going to live here on rent?” He slowly discovers that her name is Ridhima.

One day, he sees Ridhima crying on the stairs. He wants to approach her, ask why she is crying, and offer his shoulder, but he becomes hesitant because his family is nearby. His mother eventually notices her and helps her instead. Later, Ridhima decides to leave the house and live somewhere else. The boy repeatedly asks her to stay, saying, “Yaar, aap yahi pe ruk jao, kuch nahi hota,” but she still leaves.

Six months later, Ridhima returns. The boy asks his mother, “Kya Ridhima aa gayi hai?” He immediately goes to the first floor and sees her baggage outside the door. He realizes she has come back.

A few days later, the boy’s cat, Gudiya, injures her paw. He asks Ridhima to accompany him to the veterinarian, but she initially sends her friend instead. The next day he asks again, and this time she agrees to go with him on his scooty.

During their first ride together, they talk and slowly get to know each other. At the veterinarian clinic, Ridhima steps onto the weighing scale. When the boy asks her weight, she says, “49 kg.” He jokingly replies, “Moti ho.” On their ride back, she says, “Jisko jitni zarorat hoti hai woh utna hi use karta hai.” The moment feels small and ordinary, but the boy remembers it.

Two days later, he asks her again to go to the vet. She says her friend is ready to go instead. When he asks again, she says, “Mera 2 baje se college hai.” He replies, “Main 2 baje tak college chhod aaunga.” She asks, “Gudiya kaha hai?” He jokingly says, “Meri aur uski ladai hui hai.” She looks toward her friend and says, “Yaar dekha, kitne chalaak hai.” The boy asks her to come, and she finally says, “Main 3 baje free hongi, shaam ko chalte hain.”

Later that day, they go to the veterinarian together on the scooty again. During the ride, the boy asks her what she loves the most. She says she loves watching cricket. He asks, “Who is your favourite player? And don't say Virat.” She replies that her favourite is MS Dhoni.

At the vet clinic, Ridhima again steps onto the weighing scale. The boy watches her through the glass from inside the clinic and notices that her weight is now 56 kg. Their interaction has a playful, comfortable feeling.

On the ride home, the boy tells Ridhima about his dream of opening a sweet shop and a blacksmith shop someday. Instead of dismissing the dream, she surprisingly asks, “Why not now?” Her question makes him feel that she genuinely supports his dream.

Before they reach home, he asks her one final, deeper question: “Why Dhoni?” She explains that she likes Dhoni because of the way he handles pressure and remains calm and cool-minded.

The boy reflects on this. He also loves Dhoni, but for a completely different reason. Dhoni was the first cricketer he remembers watching as a child, and after learning about Dhoni’s story, he became a huge fan. He realizes that although they both admire the same person, they see him in completely different ways.

The manga should feel natural, realistic, emotional, and slow-burn rather than overly dramatic. Focus on subtle expressions, awkward moments, small conversations, meaningful glances, realistic environments, and the gradual development of a connection between two ordinary people. Use cinematic manga panels, expressive character faces, realistic backgrounds, and Hindi dialogue where appropriate.
Create ONE COMPLETE traditional Japanese manga page in PURE BLACK AND WHITE, divided into EXACTLY FOUR sequential panels, following RIGHT-TO-LEFT manga reading order.

**ART STYLE:**
Highly detailed, authentic hand-drawn Japanese seinen manga, inspired by the contemplative atmosphere, realistic backgrounds, subtle emotions and cinematic storytelling of Inio Asano's Goodnight Punpun (Oyasumi Punpun).

Traditional pencil and ink illustration on manga paper. Extremely fine, delicate, organic linework, subtle imperfections, elegant contours, detailed hair strands, natural fabric folds and realistic architectural perspective.

The drawing must look completely finished and professionally illustrated by hand, NOT digitally generated. Use EXTREMELY MINIMAL hatching and crosshatching. Avoid heavy shadows, excessive black areas, dense textures, artificial gradients and glossy effects. Preserve clean white areas and delicate line-weight variations.

**CHARACTER:**
One slim teenage girl with straight, shoulder-length hair, wearing a plain white sleeveless tank top and short striped pajama shorts.

Maintain EXACTLY the same face, hairstyle, body proportions and clothing in every panel. Natural anatomy, realistic movements and subtle expressions.

**LOCATION:**
A small, modest bedroom containing a single bed, a desk with a computer beside the bed, and a closed bedroom door. Slippers rest on the floor beside the bed. Keep furniture placement consistent.

**PANEL 1 — OVERHEAD ESTABLISHING SHOT:**
Extreme bird's-eye view, camera directly above the bedroom, looking vertically downward.

The girl lies awake on her back in bed, with BOTH EYES OPEN, staring silently at the ceiling. Her head rests on a pillow, arms relaxed naturally beside her body.

Show the bed, desk, computer and surrounding bedroom. Quiet early-morning atmosphere. Detailed bedding and realistic room perspective.

**PANEL 2 — FLOOR-LEVEL CLOSE-UP:**
Extreme low-angle close-up, camera almost touching the bedroom floor.

Show ONLY the girl's TWO bare feet and lower legs as she lowers them from the edge of the mattress toward the floor. Her slippers are nearby.

Her face, torso and arms must remain outside the frame. Both legs must be anatomically correct, with no additional limbs.

**PANEL 3 — DIAGONAL MEDIUM SHOT:**
Three-quarter diagonal camera angle, approximately waist height.

The girl rises naturally from the edge of her bed, leaning slightly forward while placing her weight on her feet.

Her face is visible, showing a subtle, sleepy, contemplative expression. Correct human proportions, natural posture and realistic clothing folds.

**PANEL 4 — DISTANT SIDE-PROFILE SHOT:**
Wide cinematic shot, camera perpendicular to the girl's walking direction.

Show the girl's entire body in clear side profile as she walks slowly across the bedroom toward the closed door.

Her arms hang naturally, posture relaxed, expression neutral. The bed, desk and computer remain in their established positions. She has NOT opened the door.

**STRICT ANATOMICAL ACCURACY:**
Only ONE girl exists in the scene. She has EXACTLY TWO arms, TWO hands, TWO legs and TWO feet. No duplicated limbs, extra legs, extra feet, distorted joints, fused body parts or impossible poses.

Every limb must connect naturally to the body. Preserve realistic anatomy in all four panels.

**CRITICAL PANEL DIFFERENTIATION:**
Each panel MUST depict a different moment, pose, camera angle, framing and perspective.

Panel 1: overhead wide shot, girl lying awake.
Panel 2: floor-level close-up, feet approaching floor.
Panel 3: diagonal medium shot, girl standing up.
Panel 4: distant side-profile wide shot, girl walking.

Never duplicate, mirror, recycle or reuse previous panel compositions. No repeated portraits.

**FINAL REQUIREMENTS:**
EXACTLY FOUR PANELS ON ONE PAGE. Clear panel borders and traditional Japanese manga layout. Pure black and white. No color, dialogue, speech bubbles, captions, text or sound effects. No hallway or kitchen scenes.

Prioritize cinematic visual storytelling, delicate handmade manga aesthetics, accurate anatomy, consistent character design and extremely minimal hatching.

Subaru sourit également.

Subaru :
« Ouais. »

Folding the Sky
A one-shot manga story
Theme: Real strength isn't carrying everything alone — it's letting someone else hold part of the weight.
Genre: Slice-of-life / coming-of-age (yomikiri, ~30 pages)
Setting: A small seaside town, present day
Characters
Sora Kishida (16) — Class representative, top of her grade, always smiling. What no one knows: her father hurt his back last spring, so every night after homework she runs the family bakery's ovens alone until 2 a.m. She has decided that if she never looks tired, no one will worry, and if no one worries, nothing is actually wrong.
Renji Abe (16) — Sits by the window, barely talks in class. Every morning he folds one paper crane and leaves it somewhere in the school — a locker, a windowsill, a library book — for a stranger to find. He calls it "making sure nobody's day has a total of zero good things in it." He never signs them.
Story
Opening image: Dawn. Sora's hands, dusted white with flour, folding the bakery's shutters open. Cut to the same hands twenty minutes later, folding a hair ribbon straight, plastering on a smile as she steps into a classroom full of "Good morning, Kishida-san!"
The first act shows her holding it all together in small, exhausting ways — falling asleep for three seconds during a test and catching herself, waving off a friend's "you look pale," counting coins from the register while she should be sleeping. She's built a whole architecture of fine.
Renji notices what everyone else doesn't: the same girl who used to finish her lunch now barely touches it. One morning she finds a paper crane tucked into her shoe locker. She almost throws it away — she doesn't have room in her day for one more thing to take care of — but something makes her keep it in her pocket instead.
The middle act is built on small, glancing scenes: Renji folding cranes in the back of the classroom while Sora watches without meaning to. A rainy afternoon where their umbrellas end up under the same awning and neither of them says much, which is its own kind of relief. Sora starts finding a crane every few days. She starts, without noticing, looking forward to them.
The break: Two weeks before the school festival, Sora is supposed to finalize the class's entire event plan — on top of a full night shift because her father's pain has flared up again. She hasn't slept properly in four days. In the middle of presenting the plan to the class, her voice just — stops working. Not dramatically. Quietly. She stands at the front of the room and cannot make the next sentence come out, and for the first time all year, everyone can see that something is wrong.
She runs. Not far — just to the stairwell landing, out of sight. She sits down hard and, for the first time in the whole story, she cries like she means it.
Renji finds her there. He doesn't ask what's wrong. He sits one step below her and, without a word, starts folding a crane out of a page torn from his notebook. She watches his hands work in silence for a while.
"Why do you do that," she finally asks. "The cranes."
"Because some days the good thing has to come from outside, or it doesn't come at all." He holds it out to her. "You don't have to make your own good thing happen every single day, Kishida. That's not a rule anyone made. You made that one up."
She tells him everything then — the bakery, her father, the ovens, the counting of coins at midnight. It comes out messy and out of order and she apologizes for it, out of old habit, and he says: "Don't fold this one up neat for me. Just say it."
Resolution: She doesn't quit the bakery and her father doesn't magically heal — the story doesn't hand her a fix. What changes is smaller and more durable: she tells her homeroom teacher the truth, and the class festival gets restructured so three other students share the load she'd quietly been carrying alone. Renji starts walking her home some nights so she isn't doing the late shift in silence. It isn't rescue. It's company.
Closing image, mirrored from the opening: Dawn again. Sora's hands, flour-dusted, opening the shutters — except this time Renji is on the step outside with two coffees, waiting to help her carry the bread trays in. On the windowsill behind her, a whole small flock of paper cranes has collected over the weeks, wings overlapping, holding each other up.
Final panel, no dialogue: Sora folds a crane of her own for the first time — badly, lopsided, one wing longer than the other — and leaves it on someone else's desk before the bell rings.
Closing theme line (final text panel): "You don't have to fold your storm into something small enough to carry by yourself."
The World's Worst Rapper

Jay had been rapping for six years.

Nobody knew.

Not because he was underground. Not because he was mysterious. Not because he was waiting for the perfect moment to drop his masterpiece.

Nobody knew because Jay was fucking terrible.

His lyrics were awkward. His flow was worse. His beats sounded like they had been made on a microwave. Even his friends had stopped pretending.

“You should probably keep your day job,” his best mate, Damo, told him one night.

Jay stared at him.

“I don't have a day job.”

“Exactly.”

Jay lived in a tiny apartment above a takeaway shop, worked random shifts whenever someone would hire him, and spent every spare dollar on recording equipment.

But he believed he was destined to become famous.

One Friday night, after getting rejected by another local studio, Jay went home drunk, opened his phone camera and recorded the worst freestyle of his life.

There was no beat.

No preparation.

He just started rapping.

“I got the money, I got the fame,

I got the—uh—different name…”

He stopped.

“Fuck it.”

He uploaded the video to a small social media account and went to sleep.

The next morning, it had three views.

Jay was devastated.

Then he noticed something strange.

One of the accounts that had watched it belonged to Kane V, the biggest rapper on the planet.

Jay laughed.

“Yeah, right.”

He assumed it was a fake account.

It wasn't.

Kane V had actually watched the video.

And he watched it again.

Then again.

By lunchtime, Kane had sent the video to his manager.

“Find this guy.”

---

Three days later, Jay was sitting in an expensive recording studio surrounded by platinum records.

Kane V walked through the door.

Jay nearly fell out of his chair.

“Mate,” Kane said, shaking his hand. “I've been looking for you.”

Jay couldn't speak.

Kane played the freestyle through the studio speakers.

Jay covered his face.

“Can we not play that?”

“No.”

Kane looked serious.

“You don't understand what you've done.”

Jay assumed he was about to get laughed out of the building.

Instead, Kane explained something unbelievable.

Buried underneath Jay's terrible lyrics was a bizarre rhythmic pattern.

Every pause.

Every mistake.

Every accidental rhyme.

It created a sequence that no producer had ever managed to create deliberately.

Kane called it the Broken Flow.

He believed it could completely change rap.

Jay didn't understand any of this.

“So… you think I'm good?”

Kane smiled.

“No.”

Jay's face dropped.

“I think you're something nobody has ever heard before.”

Kane signed Jay to his label that afternoon.

Within a week, Jay's terrible freestyle had millions of views.

People argued about him constantly.

Some called him a genius.

Others called him the worst rapper alive.

Jay didn't care.

He was famous.

His first official song reached number one.

His second went platinum.

His third won an award.

Suddenly celebrities wanted pictures with him. Brands wanted him in advertisements. Fans waited outside his apartment.

Jay had gone from three followers to millions in less than a year.

But there was one problem.

Jay still couldn't rap.

Every time he tried to make another song, the magic disappeared.

His label didn't care.

They wanted the Broken Flow.

So Jay deliberately made mistakes.

He forgot lyrics.

Started verses too early.

Stopped halfway through sentences.

Sometimes he didn't even rhyme.

And somehow, people loved it.

Then the biggest rapper in the world challenged him to a live battle.

Twenty thousand people packed into an arena.

Jay stood on stage shaking.

His opponent smiled.

“You're a joke.”

The beat started.

Jay opened his mouth.

Nothing came out.

The crowd went silent.

For the first time since becoming famous, Jay couldn't accidentally create the Broken Flow.

His opponent started laughing.

Then Jay noticed something.

The crowd wasn't waiting for a perfect rapper.

They were waiting for him.

So Jay stopped trying.

He threw the microphone onto the floor.

“Fuck rapping.”

The crowd erupted.

Jay grabbed the mic again.

“I've been pretending I know what I'm doing for the last two years.”

Silence.

“I don't.”

People started laughing.

Jay smiled.

“And apparently that's why you all fucking love me.”

The beat dropped again.

Jay started rapping exactly the way he had on that first terrible video.

Awkward.

Uncomfortable.

Completely unpredictable.

The crowd exploded.

His opponent couldn't follow him.

Every time Jay went off-beat, the DJ adapted.

Every mistake became part of the performance.

When Jay finished, the arena was screaming.

He hadn't won because he became a better rapper.

He won because nobody else could rap like Jay.

The next morning, Jay woke up to 40 million views.

Kane V called him.

“You finally figured it out.”

“Figured what out?”

Kane laughed.

“You were never supposed to become a good rapper.”

Jay looked at the mountain of awards sitting beside his bed.

“So what was I supposed to become?”

Kane paused.

“Famous.”

Jay smiled.

Then his phone buzzed.

A message from Hollywood.

They wanted Jay to star in a movie about his life.

The title?

THE WORST RAPPER ALIVE.

Jay stared at it.

“Fuck.”

For the first time in his life, he had a problem.

He couldn't act either.
Create a four-page dark-romantic manga sequence about an unexpected encounter between Doll, Hunter, and the real woman Doll is based on.

The real woman has a naturally feminine, softly curvy and realistic body shape, long straight ginger-red hair that gradually becomes lighter from the roots down toward her collarbones, where it becomes almost blonde. Her hair is slightly naturally messy rather than perfectly styled. She has striking icy blue-gray eyes and soft feminine features.

Doll is her fictional counterpart: petite and delicate, porcelain-pale skin, long vivid ginger-red hair reaching her lower back in soft natural waves, large icy-blue doe eyes, delicate doll-like features, and a feminine slightly gothic style.

Hunter has the appearance of Yoichi Nagumo from Sakamoto Days: black chin-length hair, dark eyes, handsome relaxed features, lean muscular build, and his characteristic effortlessly casual presence. He should feel calm and almost impossible to read, even when something strange is happening.

PAGE 1:

A quiet evening at Doll and Hunter's countryside home. Doll is outside near her herb garden while Hunter stands nearby, casually leaning against a doorway.

A strange distortion suddenly appears between the trees.

Doll stops moving.

Through the distortion, the real woman steps out.

She freezes.

Doll freezes too.

Panel: close-up of the real woman's icy blue-gray eyes widening.

Panel: close-up of Doll's icy-blue eyes widening in exactly the same way.

Panel: they slowly look each other up and down.

Doll takes one cautious step forward.

The real woman instinctively takes one step backward.

Hunter watches the entire exchange from behind them, expression completely neutral.

Final panel: Doll slowly points at the woman.

Doll: "Hunter..."

Hunter: "Hm?"

Doll: "Why is there another me?"

PAGE 2:

The two women cautiously approach each other.

The real woman reaches toward Doll's ginger hair.

Doll simultaneously reaches toward the real woman's hair.

Their fingers touch the other's hair at exactly the same moment.

They both stare at the strands.

The real woman gently lifts a section of Doll's longer, wavier ginger hair.

Doll examines the real woman's unusual ginger-to-almost-blonde color transition with fascinated curiosity.

They exchange a look.

Then both instinctively touch their own hair as if comparing themselves.

Panel: Doll circles around the real woman, studying her from different angles with growing fascination.

Panel: the real woman does the same to Doll.

Panel: they suddenly end up face-to-face, almost nose-to-nose.

Neither moves.

Then Doll smiles.

Not an innocent smile.

A delighted, slightly unsettling smile.

Doll whispers:

"So you're the real me."

The real woman stares at her for a second.

Then quietly:

"...Apparently you're the problem."

Doll's smile becomes even wider.

Behind them, Hunter closes his eyes for a moment as if already regretting everything.

PAGE 3:

The atmosphere suddenly becomes much warmer.

Doll grabs the real woman's hands excitedly and pulls her toward the house.

The real woman stumbles after her, laughing despite herself.

Hunter follows behind them with his hands in his pockets.

Doll excitedly shows the real woman her plants, herbs, books, little personal objects and the things she loves.

The real woman recognizes several things that feel strangely familiar.

Panel: Doll holds up a plant with exaggerated pride.

Panel: the real woman immediately starts explaining something about it.

Panel: Doll pauses.

She slowly looks at her.

The real woman pauses too.

They realize they have both started talking at exactly the same time.

They burst out laughing.

Hunter watches them.

His expression remains relaxed, but there is a tiny amused smile at the corner of his mouth.

Then the real woman suddenly notices him properly.

She looks at Doll.

Then at Hunter.

Then back at Doll.

Doll notices the look.

Doll gives her a completely innocent expression.

The real woman raises an eyebrow.

Doll quietly says:

"What?"

Hunter looks between the two women.

For the first time, he seems genuinely entertained.

PAGE 4:

Later that evening.

The three of them sit together in the warm living room.

The real woman and Doll sit close together, comparing their differences and similarities.

Doll is curled comfortably against Hunter while still talking animatedly to the real woman.

The real woman watches them with a strange mixture of amusement and disbelief.

Hunter casually rests an arm around Doll.

Then the real woman says something teasing.

Doll immediately responds with exactly the same expression and almost the same tone.

They both stop.

They stare at each other.

Then slowly begin laughing.

Hunter looks at them.

He realizes that he is essentially sitting between two versions of the same woman.

Panel: Hunter's completely deadpan expression.

Panel: Doll looking pleased with herself.

Panel: the real woman looking equally amused.

Panel: the two women simultaneously turn toward Hunter.

They both give him the exact same mischievous smile.

Hunter pauses.

"...No."

Both women laugh.

Final full-page panel:

The two versions of the woman sit together, shoulders touching, smiling as though they have already accepted each other completely. Hunter sits beside them, looking outwardly calm but clearly realizing that his peaceful evening has become considerably more complicated.

Behind them, the room is filled with warm lamps, herbs, flowers, books and shadows. Through the window, the dark forest can be seen beneath the moonlight.

In the deepest corner of the room, almost unnoticed, several old skeletons sit around a table drinking tea as if they have been watching the entire meeting.

One skeleton quietly holds up a tiny sign:

"Good luck, Hunter."

Hunter notices it.

He stares at the skeleton.

Then at the two women.

He sighs.

Doll and the real woman start laughing again.

THE GIRL I NEVER TOLD
Chapter 1 — A True Love Story
A manga-style retelling of Ragul's school memories, his silent feelings, and the unexpected
reunion that happened years later.
The Beginning
It all began when I was studying in the 11th standard.
There was a girl in my class whom I had known since the 9th standard. She had always
been someone familiar to me, but I had never thought of her in a romantic way.
She was also close to one of my female childhood friends, and she often sat near my
childhood friend in class.
But somewhere during my 11th-standard days, something inside me began to change.
I started developing feelings for her.
I never told her. I never confessed. I simply kept those feelings quietly inside my heart.
The Proposals
During that time, she started receiving proposals from boys from other departments and
even from some boys in our own class.
Every time I heard that someone had proposed to her, I would silently pray:
A Secret Prayer
“Please... don't accept anyone's proposal.”
I didn't have the courage to tell her how I felt. So instead, I kept loving her silently.
The Days Before Everything Changed
Then, in the middle of 11th standard, something unexpected happened.
COVID-19 began.
School suddenly stopped. Everything changed.
And I realized something I had never understood before.
I missed her. A lot.
Studying Together During COVID
During the lockdown, my female childhood friend and I used to study together at her
house. Since I didn't have a mobile phone and she didn't have a laptop, we shared our
devices to complete homework, prepare for class tests, and continue our studies.
My childhood friend would often call the girl. They would talk for a long time.
I would sit nearby, quietly listening to their conversations.
I didn't say much. I was just happy to hear her voice.
The First Conversation
Then, one day, something happened that I had never expected.
My female childhood friend suddenly handed her mobile phone to me.
The Moment I Froze
“Talk to her.”
That one sentence was enough to make me freeze.
My heart started beating faster.
I had barely spoken to any girl during my school days. Other than my female childhood
friend, I wasn't comfortable talking to girls at all.
And now... I was suddenly holding the phone.
She was on the other side.
My hands felt different. My heartbeat became louder. It was a feeling I had never
experienced before.
She asked me:
“What are you doing?”
I somehow managed to answer her.
“Nothing... just studying.”
That was basically our conversation. A few simple questions. A few simple answers.
Then I immediately gave the phone back to my childhood friend.
It was such a small conversation. But for me... I would remember it for a very long time.
Two Years Without Her
Eventually, COVID passed.
We finished school.
We joined different colleges.
And just like that... our paths separated.
For nearly two years, I didn't see her. I didn't talk to her. I didn't even know what was
happening in her life.
But somewhere inside me, those feelings had never completely disappeared.
The Unexpected Opportunity
Then one day, something unexpected happened.
My college professor announced an opportunity to participate in an Abroad Expo program
being held at another college.
And when I heard the name of the college... I realized it was her college.
My heart immediately started racing.
Without thinking twice, I gathered my friends and gave our names to the professor.
He arranged the necessary OD permission for us.
We were going.
To her college.
The Search
When we arrived at the college, I couldn't stop thinking about one thing.
“Will I see her?”
My friends and I were walking around the campus when suddenly... I saw a bus.
And then she appeared.
She was getting onto the bus with one of her friends.
My heart jumped.
After nearly two years... there she was.
I immediately started following her, trying to get closer.
I tried to call her.
I tried to reach her.
But there were so many people around us.
The crowd moved between us.
And then... she disappeared.
Just like that.
Gone.
Finding Her Number
I searched everywhere I could.
Then I remembered our old school group.
I found her phone number there.
My hands trembled slightly as I dialed her number.
No answer.
I tried again.
Still nothing.
After the first-half break, I decided to call one more time.
This time... she answered.
The Call
“Hello?”
My heart started racing again.
I gathered all my courage.
“Hi... I'm Ragul. We were classmates.”
She recognized me.
Then she asked:
“How are you?”
We talked for a moment.
Then, finally, I asked the question I had been waiting years to ask.
“Can we meet?”
But she told me that she was participating in a Women's Day competition that day.
“I'll meet you later, after lunch.”
So I waited.
The Balcony
After lunch, my friends started getting ready to leave.
But I still hadn't seen her.
I became frustrated. I argued with my friends because I didn't want to leave without seeing
her.
Finally, I decided to make one last call.
I called her.
She answered.
I asked again:
“Can we meet?”
She explained that the judges were coming to select the winner of the competition, so she
couldn't leave immediately.
Then she said:
“I'll come to the third-floor balcony. You can see me from there.”
I agreed.
I waited on the ground floor.
Then... I looked up.
And there she was.
Standing on the third-floor balcony.
After almost two years... I finally saw her again.
I stood there on the ground floor, looking up at her.
She stood on the balcony above me.
Neither of us knew what this moment would become.
But for me... it felt like the beginning of something I had been waiting for without even
knowing it.
TO BE CONTINUED...
# The Beginning

## Genre

School, Slice of Life, Romance, Comedy, Coming of Age

## Setting

A modern school in Nepal. The story begins when the main character joins a new school and continues through Grade 10.

## Main Character

A quiet student who doesn't talk to many people. He is somewhat shy and tends to overthink things, especially when it comes to the girl he likes.

## The Girl

A quiet and kind girl from his class. She is beautiful, doesn't talk to many people, and has an interest in drawing.

---

# Chapter 1 — A New School

I was a quiet student who only talked to a few people.

When I joined a new school, I expected to see nothing but unfamiliar faces. I thought I would have to spend the year making completely new friends.

But I was wrong.

Among the students was my old best friend, who had moved to Pokhara two years earlier. I also found a few of my old friends there.

So, instead of being completely alone, I already had people I knew.

The entire year passed normally.

Classes. Friends. School days.

Nothing particularly special happened.

Except for one girl.

She was quiet and rarely talked to many people. She was also beautiful.

At first, she was simply another beautiful girl in my class.

I didn't know that she would eventually become someone very important to me.

---

# Chapter 2 — The Artist and Satapdi Ghar

One day, a popular artist visited our school.

He announced that students who were interested in drawing could visit a place called Satapdi Ghar, a more than 100-year-old historic house.

The girl and her best friend decided to go.

I didn't.

I wasn't very good at drawing, so I didn't think I had any reason to go.

But later, I found out that she actually liked drawing.

For some reason, that made me want to know more about her.

I eventually decided to send her a friend request on Facebook.

Then I waited.

After a few days, she accepted it.

That small notification made me happy, even though I tried not to think too much about it.

Everything continued normally after that.

---

# Chapter 3 — Truth or Dare

My first terminal examination ended, and I went to my hometown for vacation.

One day, while playing a game with my friends, one of them suggested a new rule.

Anyone who lost would have to complete a dare.

Everyone agreed.

I lost the first match.

Luckily, the first dare was simple, so I completed it easily.

After a few more rounds, I lost again.

This time, my cousin looked at me and asked:

"Truth or dare?"

I chose truth.

He asked me if I liked someone.

My genuine answer was yes.

Then another person asked me:

"Truth or dare?"

This time, I became nervous.

I was afraid they might ask me who the girl was.

So I chose dare.

The dare was simple:

"Show us her picture."

She was already on my Facebook friends list.

I opened her profile, hid her name, and showed them her picture.

Everyone laughed and started teasing me.

At first, I didn't mind.

Almost everyone had a crush on someone anyway.

But my cousin didn't have one, and he started teasing me more than everyone else.

Then the other two joined him.

Soon, all three of them were teasing me.

And somehow, I made things worse.

I started showing them her pictures almost every day, joking around as if she were already my girlfriend.

---

# Chapter 4 — They Found Her Name

One day, one of my friends decided to check my Facebook account to see whether she was actually my friend.

Around the same time, I found her TikTok account.

I showed it to my cousin.

He suddenly grabbed the phone from my hand.

He read her name.

They knew.

The secret was gone.

And there was still almost half of the vacation left.

From that day onward, they started teasing me using her actual name.

I told them to stop.

They didn't.

The entire rest of the vacation passed with them teasing me about her.

Eventually, my cousin returned to his school.

I thought the teasing would finally stop.

It didn't.

Every Friday, I visited my hometown, and my friends there continued saying her name in front of me.

I became genuinely annoyed.

But I kept thinking that eventually they would get bored and forget about her.

Days became weeks.

Weeks became months.

They never forgot.

The entire year passed like that.

---

# Chapter 5 — Grade 10

Grade 10 began normally.

But this time, I decided to do something I had been too nervous to do before.

I messaged her.

I opened Facebook Messenger.

I typed:

"hello"

She replied:

"hi"

It was only two words.

But I was extremely nervous.

The next day at school, I was scared that she might react differently after our conversation.

But she didn't.

She acted completely normal.

After that, I started noticing her more.

She was kind.

She was quiet.

She didn't talk to many people.

And I found myself becoming more interested in her.

---

# Chapter 6 — The Drawing

It was around the end of Baisakh.

I remembered that she liked drawing.

So I decided to draw her.

I wasn't a very good artist.

I tried making a proper sketch of her.

When I finished, I looked at it.

It was terrible.

I couldn't help laughing at myself.

But I didn't give up.

Instead, I tried making a simple outline drawing.

Somehow, it actually looked like her.

I was surprised that I had managed to make something recognizable.

Now there was only one problem.

I had to send it to her.

I stared at the drawing for a while.

I thought about sending it.

Then I became nervous.

I waited for a few hours, thinking about what I should do.

Finally, I opened Messenger.

I typed:

"Do you like drawing?"

I sent the message.

A few moments later, she replied:

"yup!"

I stared at the message.

It was a tiny conversation.

But to me, it felt like the beginning of something.
UNTIL I UNDERSTAND HER

She looks at the clock.

Her expression changes instantly.

LILYA
Huh...?

She sits up.

LILYA
WHAT?! I'M LATE?!

She quickly gets out of bed.

Before leaving, she pauses for a second.

She closes her eyes and quietly folds her hands.

LILYA
Good morning, God...
Thank You for giving me another day.

She smiles.

Then remembers the time.

LILYA
...Oh no!

She grabs her bag and runs out.

He listens carefully while reading through his notes.

Ren is intelligent, calm and handsome, but he doesn't seem interested in getting attention.

He has a few friends, although he rarely talks unnecessarily.

Kuro walks toward him.

KURO
Hey, Ren! Good morning!

Ren doesn't respond.

Kuro waits.

Nothing.

Kuro's face slowly turns into an exaggerated angry expression.

KURO
Seriously?!

Ren continues reading.

Kuro folds his arms and turns away.

KURO
Fine. Ignore me, Mr. Perfect.

Ren quietly turns one page.

Lilya?

Silence.

The teacher looks toward the door.

TEACHER
Lilya isn't here?

Suddenly—

LILYA (O.S.)
PRESENT, MA'AM!

The classroom door opens.

Lilya stands there, breathing heavily.

Everyone looks at her.

A few students start laughing.

Lilya becomes embarrassed.

TEACHER
You're late again, Lilya.

LILYA
I'm sorry, ma'am...

The class laughs again.

Lilya lowers her head.

Ren looks at her.

He doesn't laugh.

Instead, he simply watches quietly.

TEACHER
Alright. Go sit at your desk.

LILYA
Yes, ma'am.

Lilya walks to her seat.

As she passes Ren, their eyes briefly meet.

Only for a second.

Neither says anything.

The classroom is almost completely silent.

Ren is still there.

He is cleaning the desks and arranging the classroom.

He carefully puts everything back in order.

The door opens.

Lilya enters.

She stops when she sees him.

LILYA
Ren?

Ren looks at her.

LILYA
You're still here?

REN
Yeah.

She looks around.

LILYA
You've done enough for today. You should go home.

Ren's mood suddenly changes.

He has already had a frustrating day because of Kuro.

His voice becomes harsher than he intended.

REN
Just go away.

Lilya freezes.

REN
Leave me alone.

A short silence.

Lilya looks slightly hurt.

LILYA
Oh...

She lowers her eyes.

LILYA
Okay. Sorry.

She turns to leave.

Then she stops.

She looks back at him.

LILYA
Is something wrong with you?

Ren doesn't answer.

LILYA
Can I help?

REN
No.

A pause.

REN
Just... go away.

Lilya smiles gently instead of getting angry.

LILYA
Okay.

She walks toward the door.

Before leaving, she turns around.

LILYA
Stay happy, okay?

Ren looks at her.

LILYA
You're a good boy.

She gives him a small smile.

Then she leaves.

The door closes.

Silence.

Ren stands still.

For some reason, her words stay in his mind.

REN (THOUGHT)
Why...

He looks toward the door.

REN (THOUGHT)
Why did that make me feel strange?

He doesn't understand the feeling.

He simply goes back to cleaning.

# Chapter 2 — The Friendship That Changed Everything

After leaving her college that day, I thought that moment might be the last time I would ever see her.

I didn't know that life had other plans.

### One Year Later

About a year passed.

One day, during my third year of college, I had a holiday on a Sunday.

Back home, the motor for our farm's well had stopped working.

My elder cousin and I decided to take the motor to a relative's workshop to get it repaired.

We loaded the motor into a car and started driving.

I didn't know exactly where the workshop was.

I was simply going along with my cousin.

Then, suddenly...

I saw her again.

After almost a year.

I couldn't believe it.

It was her.

I recognized the place and realized that her house was nearby.

I looked toward her home.

She was outside in the garden.

For a moment, everything around me seemed to slow down.

I didn't know what to do.

I quietly took a photo of her house.

Not because I wanted to disturb her.

I just wanted to keep that moment.

At that time, the only connection I had with her was Instagram.

Until then, I had only wished her on her birthday.

Nothing more.

But that day, I finally gathered enough courage to send her a message.

*"This is your home, right?"*

She replied.

*"Yes. How did you find it?"*

I explained the story.

I told her about the farm motor, my cousin, the workshop, and how I had unexpectedly ended up near her house.

That small conversation slowly became a longer conversation.

We started talking again.

Then she told me that she had been placed in a company in another district.

After that, our conversation ended.

And once again...

Life moved on.

---

### Watching From A Distance

Another year passed.

I didn't talk to her regularly.

Sometimes, I would see her Instagram posts or stories.

Whenever I saw her, I would feel happy.

I didn't need anything more.

Just seeing that she was doing well was enough.

Then something changed in my life.

I got placed as a **Machine Learning Engineer**.

My career had finally started moving forward.

One day, I called my childhood friend and asked about her.

*"What is she doing now?"*

My friend told me that she had lost her job and was currently at home.

Around that same time, something unexpected happened at my company.

My director and the QA team manager were looking for someone who could work well with their QA team under the QA director.

They asked me:

*"Do you know anyone who would be suitable for this role?"*

Immediately, I thought of her.

I suggested her name.

Eventually...

She joined the same company.

And suddenly, life gave me another chance to see her.

---

### The Feelings I Never Spoke About

But even then...

I didn't confess.

I kept my feelings hidden.

People might wonder why.

Why did I keep loving her but never tell her?

The answer was simple.

I knew she didn't have romantic feelings for me.

I also knew what kind of person she was.

She was a good person.

She respected her parents.

She listened to their decisions.

And there was something else that affected me deeply.

Her father and uncle trusted me.

They believed that I was someone who could look after her if she was in the city.

That trust meant something to me.

I couldn't betray it.

I couldn't take advantage of their trust to express feelings that I already knew she didn't share.

So I made a decision.

I buried my feelings even deeper.

And I became her friend.

---

### Just Friends

We started talking every day on the phone.

Not as lovers.

Not as two people secretly dating.

Just as friends.

We talked about ordinary things.

Work.

Life.

Random conversations.

Our days.

Sometimes, we travelled together by bus between the city and the village.

More than **160 kilometres**.

Those journeys became some of the most memorable moments of my life.

We sat together.

We talked.

We laughed.

And sometimes, there was simply silence.

To anyone else, it might have looked like an ordinary friendship.

But inside me...

I was carrying something much bigger.

I still loved her.

I just never said it.

---

### Eight Months Later

About eight months passed.

Then one day, she told me something that I had secretly feared.

Her family had started planning her marriage.

They had already decided on a man for her.

She told me that she respected her parents' decision.

And she was ready to get married.

When I heard those words...

I didn't know what to say.

I had spent so long hiding my feelings that even when I finally knew I was losing her, I still couldn't tell her.

I simply listened.

And accepted it.

---

### Everything Changed At Once

Around the same period, I was laid off from my company.

Suddenly, I had to think about my own future.

I started looking for another job.

At the same time, I began working with my partner in the US to build our own AI company.

We worked on a project together.

I also started freelancing.

But I knew I needed more experience.

So I continued searching for another company where I could learn and grow.

My own life was changing.

Her life was changing too.

And somehow...

We were moving in different directions.

---

### Her Wedding Invitation

Then she invited me to her wedding.

That invitation was one of the hardest things I had ever received.

I wanted to be there.

But I had an interview in Chennai.

So on the day of her wedding...

I boarded a train to Chennai.

The train started moving.

And somewhere during that journey...

she was getting married.

I was travelling toward my future.

She was beginning hers.

And I never told her.

Not once.

---

### The Word "Friend"

Looking back now, I realize something.

The word **friend** had followed me through every part of this story.

My feelings began quietly because of friendship.

I protected our friendship instead of confessing my love.

I stayed beside her as a friend.

I travelled with her as a friend.

I watched her life change as a friend.

And finally...

I watched her get married.

Still as her friend.

I don't regret respecting her.

I don't regret respecting her family.

But somewhere deep inside me...

I still regret one thing.

I never told her how much I loved her.

Maybe things would have remained exactly the same.

Maybe she would have said no.

Maybe she would have accepted me.

I will never know.

Because I chose silence.

And from that day onward...

the word **"friendship"** never meant the same thing to me again.
### The Whisper-Leaf

In a medieval world, there was a city called Greybridge.

In Greybridge lived a nineteen-year-old boy named Bran.

Bran studied the stars and the old arts of magic at the Old College. He was quiet by nature, more comfortable with books than people, and strangely good at forgetting the things that hurt him.

One autumn morning, Bran received a piece of enchanted paper known as a whisper-leaf.

Whatever was written upon it could be seen by the person who possessed its twin, no matter how many miles lay between them.

Bran gave the other half to a girl named Ella.

Ella worked at the House of Healing, where she was training to become a healer. Her greatest trial was only weeks away: the Ember Trials, the examination every apprentice feared.

She was terrified.

Bran tried to make it easier.

They began writing to each other every night.

*Good morning.*

*Good night.*

*Did you eat?*

*Did you sleep?*

*Why are you still awake?*

Sometimes they talked for hours.

Their candles burned down to stubs while the rest of Greybridge slept. They wrote about lessons, dreams, foolish jokes, worries that seemed important at midnight and ridiculous by morning.

Ella was clever and sharp, but she was tired. Whenever she wrote to Bran, however, she seemed lighter.

Then, one night, she wrote something different.

*I miss him.*

Bran knew who she meant.

Sir Aldric.

Ella had loved the knight for two years. He had gone to war and returned a different man—quiet, distant, and unwilling to speak of what he had seen. Now he lived in a monastery, having taken a vow of silence.

Bran stared at the words for a long time before answering.

*I know.*

A moment later:

*I'm sorry.*

*Don't be sorry,* Bran wrote. *Just be honest with me.*

There was a long pause.

*I don't want to hurt you.*

*Then don't lie to me.*

Another silence.

Finally:

*You are too good for me.*

Bran smiled sadly.

*That's not true.*

*It is.*

*Ella.*

*What?*

*I'm not going anywhere.*

---

The Ember Trials arrived.

Ella was convinced she would fail.

*I will fail,* she wrote one night.

*You won't.*

*You don't know that.*

*I know you.*

She smiled at the words.

Then she studied.

And she passed.

But passing the trials did not make Sir Aldric disappear from her thoughts.

---

A few days later, Bran and Ella met at the Fountain of Three Saints.

Bran arrived early.

He had spent far too long choosing his shirt, and his best one still smelled faintly of lavender.

Ella arrived late.

Her hair was pinned neatly behind her head, though a few strands had escaped. There were green stains from healing herbs along her sleeves.

They walked through the market together.

They shared a honey cake.

They talked about small things.

Ella laughed at Bran's terrible jokes.

For a while, everything felt easy.

Then Bran noticed her looking toward the knight's tower on the hill.

"He is back," she said.

Bran said nothing.

"Sir Aldric," Ella continued. "He came back from the war. He took a vow of silence. He lives at the monastery now."

"I'm sorry," Bran said quietly.

Ella looked down at her hands.

"I don't know what I feel. I thought I hated him. I thought I was over him. But when I saw him..."

She swallowed.

"I couldn't breathe."

Bran took a slow breath.

"Do you want to go back to him?"

"He won't speak to me," she said. "He won't speak to anyone."

"That isn't an answer."

Ella stopped walking.

For a moment, the sounds of the market seemed very far away.

"I don't know what I want," she said. "That's the truth."

Bran waited.

"I'm still stuck in the past. I don't want to start something with you while part of me is still there."

He nodded.

"I understand."

"Do you?"

"Yes."

She looked at him, almost frustrated.

"Then why are you still here?"

Bran looked at her.

"Because I love you."

Ella closed her eyes.

"Bran..."

"I'm not asking you to love me back," he said. "I'm not asking you to forget him. I'm only telling you the truth."

She was quiet.

"The truth is heavy."

"I know."

They stood beside the fountain.

Water flowed softly over the stone, and somewhere behind them, the bells of Greybridge began to ring.

Ella reached for his hand.

Her fingers were cold.

"I don't want to lose you," she whispered.

"You won't."

"I might."

"Then I'll wait."

"You shouldn't."

"I know."

---

Weeks passed.

Ella studied.

Bran studied.

They still wrote to each other every night, but something had changed.

The jokes became gentler.

The silences grew longer.

Ella called him *friend*.

Bran called her *my heart*.

She sent him songs.

He sent her questions.

She told him about her day.

He told her about his dreams.

Neither of them spoke much about the thing that stood between them.

Until one night, Ella finally wrote:

*I don't know what I feel.*

Bran waited.

Then another message appeared.

*You are good. You are kind. You are patient.*

A pause.

*But I'm not ready.*

Bran looked at the words for a long time.

Then he answered:

*I know.*

*What if you get hurt?*

*Then I'll heal.*

*You're an idiot.*

He smiled.

*I know.*

That night, they fell asleep with the far-seer mirror open between them.

Bran watched her breathe.

Her face was peaceful in sleep.

His heart raced.

He wanted to reach through the glass and hold her. He wanted to protect her from every knight, every memory, every fear that had ever made her cry.

But he couldn't.

All he could do was wait.

In the morning, he sent her a message.

*You looked so beautiful while sleeping. My heart was racing the whole time.*

When Ella woke, she read the message and smiled.

Then she wrote:

*Let's see.*

---

The Ember Trials came and went.

Ella passed.

She received her guild ring and cried when it was placed upon her finger.

Bran sent a raven carrying a single rose.

Her reply came that evening.

*Thank you.*

*For what?* Bran asked.

*For being you.*

He stared at the words.

*That's not an answer.*

A moment later:

*I know.*

---

Winter came to Greybridge.

The river froze beneath a thin sheet of silver ice. Frost covered the rooftops, and the bells rang through the cold air for Advent.

One morning, Bran stood upon the city walls at dawn.

He looked toward the House of Healing.

He knew Ella was somewhere inside.

He knew she still thought about Sir Aldric.

He knew she was not ready.

But he also knew something else.

Not every love arrives at the right time.

Some loves ask for patience.

Some ask for courage.

And some ask us to love someone without knowing whether they will ever choose us in return.

Bran pulled his cloak tighter around himself and turned toward the Old College.

The whisper-leaf in his pocket grew warm.

He felt the magic stir.

For a moment, he considered reading the message.

Then he smiled faintly.

Not yet.

He slipped the whisper-leaf back into his pocket and walked toward the college as the sun rose over Greybridge.

He would wait.

For now.

But not forever.
