Chapter 1: A New Beginning

The day I left Tamil Nadu for Japan was one of the hardest days of my life.

My name is Akash, and I had been accepted into a prestigious university in Japan for my higher studies. It was supposed to be the happiest moment of my life, yet as I stood inside the airport, my heart felt heavier than ever.

My entire family had come to send me off. My mother was trying her best not to cry, my father kept giving me advice every few minutes, and my younger relatives were waving at me with teary eyes. When the final boarding call echoed through the airport, reality finally hit me.

I was leaving home.

As I walked toward the boarding gate, tears rolled down my cheeks. No matter how excited I was about studying abroad, saying goodbye to my family was painful.

After boarding the flight, I found my assigned seat and sat down quietly. I stared out of the window, trying to control my emotions.

A few moments later, a girl arrived and took the seat next to me.

She looked confident and fearless. Her long black hair and calm expression made her stand out from everyone around us. She didn't seem nervous at all.

I quickly wiped my tears, hoping she hadn't noticed.

Unfortunately, she had.

Without saying anything, she took a tissue from her bag and handed it to me.

"Don't worry," she said with a small smile. "You'll be fine."

I was surprised.

That was the first time I met her.

Her name was Mikasa.

The flight continued quietly. We exchanged only a few words before eventually falling asleep.

The next morning, we landed in Japan.

After collecting our luggage, we went our separate ways. I didn't even get the chance to ask where she was studying.

I assumed I would never see her again.

I was completely wrong.

A few hours later, I arrived at my university and attended the orientation session. The classroom was already full of students.

The professor entered and smiled.

"Today, we have two international students joining our class."

Everyone looked around curiously.

The professor pointed toward me.

"This is Akash from India."

I stood up and greeted everyone.

Then the professor pointed toward another student sitting a few rows away.

"And this is Mikasa."

The moment our eyes met, both of us froze.

"YOU?!"

The entire class stared at us in confusion.

Neither of us could believe it.

Out of all the universities in Japan, we had ended up in the same class.

As weeks passed, university life became busier and busier.

One evening, after an exhausting day of lectures, I returned to my hostel room and collapsed onto my bed.

Suddenly—

Knock! Knock!

Someone was at the door.

I slowly opened it.

Standing outside was Mikasa.

I was so shocked that I literally stumbled backward and fell onto the floor.

"What are you doing in a boys' hostel?!" I shouted.

Mikasa looked equally surprised before bursting into laughter.

"Relax! This is a co-living hostel. Boys and girls can stay in the same building."

I felt embarrassed immediately.

"Oh..."

She smiled.

"Anyway, I'm heading to dinner. I thought I'd check if you wanted to come."

That night, we ate together and talked for hours.

I learned that she was bold, straightforward, and surprisingly easy to talk to.

At one point, I asked,

"How are you talking to a boy you've barely known without any fear?"

She shrugged.

"You don't look scary at all."

I laughed.

And for the first time since arriving in Japan, I felt at home.

Days turned into weeks.

Weeks turned into a month.

Before I realized it, Mikasa had become my closest friend.

We attended classes together, explored the city together, studied together, and shared countless conversations.

However, there was one thing that bothered me.

Whenever family was mentioned, her expression changed.

One day, I accidentally discovered that she hadn't spoken to her parents since arriving in Japan.

That shocked me.

Unlike me, who called my family almost every day, she completely avoided talking about hers.

A few days later, I found out that her birthday was only four days away.

That's when I made a decision.

I secretly contacted her parents.

At first, they were hesitant.

Then they explained everything.

They had wanted her to get married and settle down. Mikasa had refused because she wanted to pursue higher studies in Japan.

The argument had become so serious that they stopped talking to each other.

Even when she left for Japan, they hadn't come to see her off.

After hearing everything, I spent days convincing them to record a birthday message for their daughter.

Finally, they agreed.

On the day of her birthday, something felt strange.

Mikasa didn't come to class.

She didn't answer my messages.

She didn't even show up for dinner.

Late that evening, I went to her room carrying my laptop.

She opened the door and looked exhausted.

Without explaining anything, I placed the laptop on her desk.

"Do whatever you want afterward," I said. "But for the next ten minutes, just watch this video."

Then I left the room.

A few minutes later, she pressed play.

The screen lit up.

The first faces she saw were her parents'.

"Happy Birthday, Mikasa."

Her eyes widened.

Her parents continued speaking.

"We're sorry."

"We know we haven't talked to you."

"We were hurt, and we know you were hurt too."

"But we're proud of you."

"We'll start talking to you regularly again."

"And most importantly..."

"Happy Birthday."

By the time the video ended, tears were streaming down her face.

Then my own recorded message appeared.

"Hey, Mikasa."

"I know this gift isn't anything amazing."

"But you're my friend."

"And friends shouldn't carry their pain alone."

"Next time, don't hide things from me."

"Happy Birthday."

The video ended.

A few moments later, there was a knock on my door.

I opened it.

Mikasa was standing there.

Before I could say anything, she grabbed both of my hands and started crying.

"Thank you..."

That was all she could say.

But I understood.

The weight she had been carrying in her heart for months had finally become lighter.

From that night onward, our friendship grew stronger than ever.

Neither of us knew it yet, but this was only the beginning of a story that would change both of our lives forever.

TITLE: WHEN DREAMS FADE
Japanese Title: 「夢が消える時」
Genre: Romance, Supernatural, Drama, Mystery, Psychological, Tragedy

STORY OVERVIEW:

"When Dreams Fade" is a psychological supernatural romance about two young people who meet by chance on social media and slowly discover that their connection transcends reality itself.

The story follows IZUMI KAWAZAI, a quiet and somewhat lonely young Japanese man who spends most of his nights scrolling through social media. One night, he notices a post made by a mysterious girl named TSUKI AMAMI.

Izumi leaves a sarcastic comment without expecting anything.

A few minutes later, Tsuki replies:

"Your comment is stupid."

Izumi smiles and answers:

"And you replied to it, so I guess we're even."

A simple conversation begins.

One message becomes another.

Short conversations become hours of talking.

Over time, Izumi and Tsuki become inseparable despite living thousands of kilometers apart. They share photographs, memories, childhood stories, fears, dreams and secrets.

Neither of them realizes that the word "dream" will eventually become the most dangerous word in their relationship.

One night, Izumi falls asleep.

When he opens his eyes, he is standing inside an impossible city.

The sky is dark violet.

A gigantic purple moon hangs above empty buildings.

The streets are covered with shallow water reflecting the sky.

Enormous clocks float above the city, but their hands move backwards.

There are no people.

No sunlight.

No end.

Then Izumi hears footsteps.

He turns around.

A girl is standing in the distance.

Long dark hair moves with the wind.

He recognizes her immediately.

"Tsuki?"

The girl raises her head in shock.

"Izumi?"

Both wake up in their separate bedrooms.

The following morning, Izumi sends Tsuki a message:

"Did you have a strange dream last night?"

After a long pause, Tsuki replies:

"A city under a purple moon?"

From that night onward, every time they fall asleep, they enter the same mysterious dream world.

They name it NØX.

NØX is not an ordinary dream.

It is an endless supernatural world created from dreams, memories, emotions and lost souls.

The environment changes constantly.

Entire cities appear based on forgotten memories.

Oceans float in the sky.

Rain falls upward.

Buildings disappear overnight.

Time does not move normally.

Inside NØX, the distance separating Izumi and Tsuki in reality no longer exists.

They explore the impossible world together.

They walk through empty streets.

They sit on rooftops beneath the enormous purple moon.

They visit places created from their childhood memories.

They walk through rain without becoming wet.

Their friendship slowly becomes love.

One night, Izumi gently holds Tsuki's hand for the first time.

In reality, thousands of kilometers separate them.

But inside NØX, there is no distance.

Tsuki eventually tells Izumi:

"Sometimes I feel like this place is more real than our actual lives."

Izumi answers:

"Maybe because we're here together."

However, after several months, NØX begins changing.

Cracks appear in the sky.

Buildings disappear.

Dark shadows begin moving through empty streets.

Then Izumi and Tsuki encounter a mysterious man.

He is tall and wears a long black coat.

But he has no face.

Where his face should be, there is only endless darkness.

He introduces himself as THE GUARDIAN.

The Guardian tells them:

"You were never supposed to meet."

He explains that Izumi and Tsuki are breaking an ancient law.

Two souls from different worlds cannot remain connected inside NØX for too long.

Every night they spend together makes returning to reality more difficult.

At first, they refuse to believe him.

But strange things begin happening in reality.

Izumi starts sleeping for extremely long periods.

Sometimes he wakes up without remembering where he is.

Tsuki begins losing memories.

First she forgets small things.

Then important moments.

Eventually she loses an entire day from her life.

They confront the Guardian again.

He finally reveals the truth.

NØX is a world between reality and dreams.

It is created from dreams, memories and souls that never found their way back.

Every soul that enters NØX is supposed to return to its original world.

But Izumi and Tsuki have created something extremely rare.

Their souls have become connected.

A SOUL BOND.

Their connection is so powerful that even when they try to avoid each other, they continue being pulled back into NØX.

They decide to stop meeting.

They stop messaging.

They try sleeping at different times.

They attempt to forget each other.

But after several days, Izumi falls asleep and wakes up inside NØX.

Tsuki is already there.

She is crying.

"Why are you here?" she asks.

Izumi quietly answers:

"I was about to ask you the same thing."

Tsuki whispers:

"I tried to escape."

Izumi says:

"Me too."

She looks at him.

"Even when I don't want to see you... my world brings me back to you."

Suddenly, enormous glowing words appear in the sky:

SOUL BOND

The Guardian returns and reveals the cruel truth.

Their souls are now connected between reality and the dream world.

But the connection is unstable.

The stronger their love becomes, the more NØX begins collapsing.

They are given two choices.

FIRST CHOICE:

Break the Soul Bond.

Both Izumi and Tsuki will return to normal life.

But every memory of each other will disappear forever.

They will become strangers again.

SECOND CHOICE:

Continue their relationship.

But eventually, one of their souls will become permanently trapped inside NØX.

Izumi refuses both choices.

He says:

"We will find a third way."

The Guardian replies:

"Every lover believes they can change the laws of the world."

Time passes.

Izumi and Tsuki decide that they can no longer allow distance to control their relationship.

They decide to meet in reality for the first time.

They choose a location.

They choose a date.

They count the days.

Izumi packs his bag.

Tsuki prepares for the meeting.

For the first time, their impossible dream is about to become reality.

But the night before their meeting, Izumi falls asleep.

He wakes inside NØX.

Something is wrong.

The entire dream world is dying.

Buildings collapse.

The ocean rises into the sky.

The streets split apart.

The enormous purple moon breaks into two pieces.

The Guardian is waiting.

He says:

"The time has come."

Izumi refuses to abandon Tsuki.

Then Tsuki suddenly appears.

The Guardian explains:

"You tried to make the dream become reality."

He pauses.

"And now someone must pay the price."

A single glowing portal appears.

The Guardian explains that only one person can return to reality.

One soul must remain inside NØX forever.

Izumi and Tsuki desperately search for another solution.

But there is none.

While Tsuki searches for a way to save them both, Izumi quietly approaches the Guardian.

He asks:

"If one person stays here... will the other survive?"

The Guardian remains silent.

Then answers:

"Yes."

Izumi understands.

He looks at Tsuki.

He remembers everything.

Their first message.

Their first conversation.

The first night inside NØX.

Their first time holding hands.

Every moment beneath the purple moon.

He realizes what he must do.

The world continues collapsing.

The portal begins closing.

Tsuki grabs Izumi's hand.

"I'm not going without you."

Izumi smiles peacefully.

"Tsuki..."

"What?"

"Were you happy with me?"

Tsuki begins crying.

"What kind of question is that? Of course I was happy."

Izumi looks at her for a long moment.

"Then that's enough."

Tsuki suddenly realizes his intention.

"No... Izumi, don't do this."

His fingers slowly begin slipping from her hand.

She desperately holds him.

"I won't let you go!"

Izumi looks at the collapsing world.

Then back at Tsuki.

He says:

"I was always afraid that our relationship was just a dream."

He gently touches her face.

"But then I realized something."

Tsuki asks through tears:

"What?"

Izumi smiles.

"Even if it was a dream... you were the most beautiful thing that ever happened inside it."

Izumi pushes Tsuki toward the portal.

She screams his name.

"IZUMI!"

The portal closes.

NØX disappears into darkness.

Tsuki wakes up inside her bedroom.

Morning sunlight enters through the window.

Everything appears normal.

She immediately searches for Izumi on her phone.

Nothing.

No messages.

No photographs.

No social media account.

No trace of his existence.

It is as if Izumi Kawazai never existed.

Years pass.

Tsuki continues living her life.

But she constantly feels that something is missing.

Someone important.

Someone her mind cannot remember.

But her heart refuses to forget.

Many years later, Tsuki falls asleep.

When she opens her eyes, she is standing inside NØX once again.

The city is peaceful.

The purple moon is whole again.

She walks through the silent streets.

Then she hears a voice behind her.

"You took your time."

Tsuki freezes.

She slowly turns around.

A young man is sitting on a distant wall.

His face is hidden in the moonlight.

Tsuki approaches him.

"Do I know you?"

The young man looks toward the purple moon.

He smiles sadly.

"No..."

He pauses.

"But I never forgot you."

Tears begin falling from Tsuki's eyes without knowing why.

She places her hand over her heart.

"Why does my heart feel like it knows you?"

The young man finally turns toward her.

It is Izumi.

He smiles.

He says:

"Because some souls don't need memories to remember who they love."

FINAL SCENE:

Izumi and Tsuki stand together beneath the enormous purple moon.

The silent city reflects across the water.

Their hands slowly reach toward each other.

The story ends with the words:

WHEN DREAMS FADE

Some goodbyes are forever.
Some souls aren't.

A quiet and kind girl from his class. She is beautiful, doesn't talk to many people, and has an interest in drawing.

---

# Chapter 1 — A New School

I was a quiet student who only talked to a few people.

When I joined a new school, I expected to see nothing but unfamiliar faces. I thought I would have to spend the year making completely new friends.

But I was wrong.

Among the students was my old best friend, who had moved to Pokhara two years earlier. I also found a few of my old friends there.

So, instead of being completely alone, I already had people I knew.

The entire year passed normally.

Classes. Friends. School days.

Nothing particularly special happened.

Except for one girl.

She was quiet and rarely talked to many people. She was also beautiful.

At first, she was simply another beautiful girl in my class.

I didn't know that she would eventually become someone very important to me.

---

# Chapter 2 — The Artist and Satapdi Ghar

One day, a popular artist visited our school.

He announced that students who were interested in drawing could visit a place called Satapdi Ghar, a more than 100-year-old historic house.

The girl and her best friend decided to go.

I didn't.

I wasn't very good at drawing, so I didn't think I had any reason to go.

But later, I found out that she actually liked drawing.

For some reason, that made me want to know more about her.

I eventually decided to send her a friend request on Facebook.

Then I waited.

After a few days, she accepted it.

That small notification made me happy, even though I tried not to think too much about it.

Everything continued normally after that.

---

# Chapter 3 — Truth or Dare

My first terminal examination ended, and I went to my hometown for vacation.

One day, while playing a game with my friends, one of them suggested a new rule.

Anyone who lost would have to complete a dare.

Everyone agreed.

I lost the first match.

Luckily, the first dare was simple, so I completed it easily.

After a few more rounds, I lost again.

This time, my cousin looked at me and asked:

"Truth or dare?"

I chose truth.

He asked me if I liked someone.

My genuine answer was yes.

Then another person asked me:

"Truth or dare?"

This time, I became nervous.

I was afraid they might ask me who the girl was.

So I chose dare.

The dare was simple:

"Show us her picture."

She was already on my Facebook friends list.

I opened her profile, hid her name, and showed them her picture.

Everyone laughed and started teasing me.

At first, I didn't mind.

Almost everyone had a crush on someone anyway.

But my cousin didn't have one, and he started teasing me more than everyone else.

Then the other two joined him.

Soon, all three of them were teasing me.

And somehow, I made things worse.

I started showing them her pictures almost every day, joking around as if she were already my girlfriend.

---

# Chapter 4 — They Found Her Name

One day, one of my friends decided to check my Facebook account to see whether she was actually my friend.

Around the same time, I found her TikTok account.

I showed it to my cousin.

He suddenly grabbed the phone from my hand.

He read her name.

They knew.

The secret was gone.

And there was still almost half of the vacation left.

From that day onward, they started teasing me using her actual name.

I told them to stop.

They didn't.

The entire rest of the vacation passed with them teasing me about her.

Eventually, my cousin returned to his school.

I thought the teasing would finally stop.

It didn't.

Every Friday, I visited my hometown, and my friends there continued saying her name in front of me.

I became genuinely annoyed.

But I kept thinking that eventually they would get bored and forget about her.

Days became weeks.

Weeks became months.

They never forgot.

The entire year passed like that.

---

# Chapter 5 — Grade 10

Grade 10 began normally.

But this time, I decided to do something I had been too nervous to do before.

I messaged her.

I opened Facebook Messenger.

I typed:

"hello"

She replied:

"hi"

It was only two words.

But I was extremely nervous.

The next day at school, I was scared that she might react differently after our conversation.

But she didn't.

She acted completely normal.

After that, I started noticing her more.

She was kind.

She was quiet.

She didn't talk to many people.

And I found myself becoming more interested in her.

---

# Chapter 6 — The Drawing

It was around the end of Baisakh.

I remembered that she liked drawing.

So I decided to draw her.

I wasn't a very good artist.

I tried making a proper sketch of her.

When I finished, I looked at it.

It was terrible.

I couldn't help laughing at myself.

But I didn't give up.

Instead, I tried making a simple outline drawing.

Somehow, it actually looked like her.

I was surprised that I had managed to make something recognizable.

Now there was only one problem.

I had to send it to her.

I stared at the drawing for a while.

I thought about sending it.

Then I became nervous.

I waited for a few hours, thinking about what I should do.

Finally, I opened Messenger.

I typed:

"Do you like drawing?"

I sent the message.

A few moments later, she replied:

"yup!"

I stared at the message.

It was a tiny conversation.

But to me, it felt like the beginning of something.

After Zero — Chapter 1: The World After Zero

Genre: Sci-Fi, Action, Mystery, Post-Apocalyptic

Humanity once lived in a world much like our own—modern cities, advanced technology, smartphones, airplanes, and peaceful everyday life. Then came the catastrophe known as Zero.

A devastating nuclear war nearly destroyed civilization. Billions died, cities were reduced to ruins, and the survivors were forced to hide inside enormous shelters. Over generations, humanity rebuilt itself. The shelters became massive fortified cities, new technologies were developed, and civilization slowly became stronger than before.

But Earth had changed.

Animals exposed to the aftermath evolved into dangerous creatures known as Beasts. At the same time, some humans began developing extraordinary abilities. These people became known as Awakeners.

In the present day, Awakener schools train young people to control their abilities, while elite military academies prepare Awakeners to defend humanity from the Beasts beyond the city walls.

Our story follows a teenager born long after Zero. He has never seen the Old World and has grown up believing the history taught in school: humanity destroyed itself through nuclear war.

As he prepares for the entrance examination to an Awakener Academy, his ordinary life suddenly changes when a powerful Beast breaches the city's outer defenses.

But the Beast isn't behaving normally.

It appears to be searching for something buried beneath the city.

Far underground, hidden beneath layers of forgotten civilization, an ancient machine awakens for the first time in centuries.

A forgotten system comes online.

# Between First Love and True Connection

### Episode 1-6: The Confession

Third year of college had just begun.

Shan was known as a good-hearted guy who loved gaming. Unfortunately, he was also known for losing his temper during matches. His friends often saw him arguing with teammates and getting frustrated over small things.

For years, Shan had hidden his feelings for Zara.

One evening, after gathering all his courage, he finally confessed.

"Zara... I love you. I know I'm not perfect, but you mean everything to me."

Zara stood silently.

"Shan... you're important to me. But I don't have those feelings for you."

The words pierced his heart.

She continued softly.

"I see you getting angry often. I see how gaming affects your mood. I don't think we're compatible."

Shan desperately asked for a chance.

"What if I change?"

Zara shook her head.

"People don't change easily. I need time to think."

Those words became the tiny thread of hope Shan held onto.

---

### Episode 7-12: Waiting

Weeks became months.

Shan started improving himself.

He spent less time gaming.

He focused on studies.

He controlled his temper.

He became more patient.

But every night he wondered the same thing.

*"Is Zara thinking about me?"*

Whenever his thoughts became too heavy, he texted Jen.

Jen was Zara's best friend and also Shan's friend.

Unlike Zara, Jen always listened.

Whenever Shan felt broken, Jen encouraged him.

"Keep moving forward."

"Focus on yourself."

"You've already improved so much."

For six months, Jen became the person who carried Shan through his darkest moments.

But she never crossed any boundaries.

Because Jen was already in a relationship with The-A, who was also one of Shan's closest friends.

---

### Episode 13: The Night Everything Changed

One night Shan felt especially hopeless.

He texted Jen.

"Do you think Zara will ever like me?"

There was a long pause.

Then Jen finally replied.

"Shan... I don't think Zara is right for you."

Those words shocked him.

"What do you mean?"

Jen sighed.

"She asked for time."

"But honestly? I don't see her thinking about your feelings."

"I see her enjoying her life exactly the same way."

"As your friend, I think you're holding onto false hope."

Shan felt tears forming.

For months he had believed that Zara was seriously considering his feelings.

Jen continued.

"And honestly, your expectations and Zara's expectations are completely different."

"I don't think you two fit together."

For the first time, Shan started wondering if everything he had done was for a future that would never happen.

---

### Episode 14: The Misunderstanding

Shan was a practical thinker.

Whenever someone explained something, he tried to understand it using examples.

Without thinking, he asked:

"Then are your expectations and The-A's expectations the same?"

The moment the message was sent, everything changed.

Jen became quiet.

A few minutes later she replied.

"So I'm trying to support you, and you're comparing my relationship?"

Shan froze.

That wasn't what he meant.

He wasn't questioning her relationship.

He was simply trying to understand her point through an example.

But the damage was already done.

Jen replied again.

"Maybe I should just act like everyone else."

The conversation ended.

That night Shan couldn't sleep.

Instead of helping the person who always helped him, he had hurt her.

So he made a decision.

Maybe it was better if he created some distance.

Maybe Jen would be happier without dealing with his problems.

---

### Episode 15: The Promise

Days passed.

The conversations became shorter.

Then one afternoon Jen suddenly messaged him.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"I had a friend before."

"He slowly started ignoring me."

"I kept wondering if one day you'd do the same."

The message stunned Shan.

For the first time, he realized Jen had fears too.

She wasn't just the person helping him.

She was someone who could be hurt.

Without hesitation he replied.

"No matter what happens, I'll always be here for you as a friend."

For several seconds there was no response.

Then Jen simply replied:

"Thank you."

It was a small conversation.

But for Shan, it became one of the most important moments of his life.

---

### Episode 16: The Question

Months later.

One evening Jen finally asked the question she had been holding inside.

"Shan..."

"Do you only talk to me because of Zara?"

The words hit him harder than Zara's rejection.

Because for the first time, he looked back at everything.

The late-night conversations.

The encouragement.

The support.

The moments when she listened to him cry.

The moments when she stayed awake just to make sure he was okay.

And suddenly he realized something terrifying.

He had never once considered how she felt.

He always thought about his own pain.

His own heartbreak.

His own loneliness.

But Jen had been carrying part of that burden too.

And now she believed she was nothing more than a connection to Zara.

The thought broke his heart.

"No."

His fingers trembled.

"No, Jen."

"Maybe that's why I started talking to you."

"But that's not why I stayed."

"You became important to me."

"You listened when nobody else did."

"You saw the side of me that nobody sees."

"I don't know what my feelings are anymore."

"But I know losing you would hurt more than you realize."

For the first time, Jen was speechless.

---

### Final Episodes: Understanding Love

Eventually Zara gave her final answer.

Her feelings had not changed.

She wished Shan happiness.

This time Shan accepted it peacefully.

Not because it hurt less.

But because he had finally learned something important.

Love isn't proving yourself to someone.

Love isn't waiting endlessly for someone to choose you.

Love isn't changing your entire existence for another person.

Real love is being accepted while you're still growing.

Months later Shan stood on the college rooftop.

The sunset painted the sky orange.

Jen joined him.

Neither of them spoke for a while.

Then Shan smiled.

"You know... if you hadn't been there, I don't know where I'd be."

Jen smiled back.

"You would've figured it out eventually."

"Maybe."

"But I'm glad I didn't have to."

For the first time in a long time, Shan felt peaceful.

His first love had taught him heartbreak.

But an unexpected friendship had taught him something even more valuable.

Sometimes the person who saves your heart isn't the person you fall for first.

It's the person who quietly stays beside you when everyone else walks away.

And in that moment, Shan finally understood what genuine connection truly meant.

The future between Shan and Jen remained uncertain.

But for the first time, Shan wasn't afraid of uncertainty.

Because whatever happened next, it would be built on understanding, trust, and truth.

And that was worth more than any dream he had been chasing before.
Create a single manga page consisting of exactly 6 panels, arranged vertically or in a natural Japanese manga page layout.

## Overall concept

A mysterious bedtime story being read to a young girl named "Ai".

The story begins as a warm and gentle fairy tale about five special stars forming a constellation, gradually becomes unsettling and melancholic as humanity disrupts the stars, and finally returns to a quiet, warm bedtime atmosphere.

The emotional progression should be:

1. Warm and nostalgic
2. Playful but ominous
3. Chaotic and tragic
4. Lonely and melancholic
5. Quiet, emotional, hopeful
6. Warm, intimate, mysterious

The manga should feel like a Japanese fantasy mystery manga with beautiful cinematic compositions.

Visual tone:

* Japanese manga
* fantasy
* slightly dark fairy tale
* mysterious
* emotional
* beautiful night scenery
* soft lighting
* subtle horror atmosphere
* expressive character acting
* cinematic framing
* detailed backgrounds
* clean manga line art
* sophisticated panel composition
* avoid excessive comedy
* the humor should be subtle and slightly unsettling

Use consistent character designs throughout the page.

## Important character design

"Ai":
A small young girl, around elementary school age.
Quiet and innocent expression.
Short dark hair.
Large expressive eyes.
Wearing simple comfortable pajamas.
She should look curious but slightly lonely.

"The older brother":
A gentle young man with a warm smile.
Short dark hair.
Calm and kind expression.
He is reading a picture book to Ai at bedtime.
His appearance should feel safe and comforting, but there should be a very subtle sense that he knows something Ai does not.

Do NOT change their appearance between panels.

## Panel 1

Dark, quiet bedroom at night.

Ai is sitting in bed while looking at a smartphone or an open picture book.
The room is illuminated by a small amount of soft moonlight.
An open book is visible.
Subtle sound effect suggesting the turning of a page.

The atmosphere is peaceful and nostalgic.

Inside the storybook, show five beautiful special stars in the night sky.
Each star has a different color and personality.
They are connected together, forming one cute and beautiful constellation.

The five stars should feel like individual characters rather than ordinary stars.

Make the narration appear as elegant Japanese narration boxes.

## Panel 2

The story becomes slightly darker.

Show humans operating a huge mysterious machine.
They are pulling enormous threads connected to the night sky.

The machine should look fantastical and slightly absurd, but also ominous.
The humans appear greedy and excited.

Some of the threads stretch toward the stars.
The sky beyond them contains an enormous mysterious light.

The composition should visually communicate:
"Humanity wants to reach something beyond the stars."

Japanese narration/dialogue:

「でもある日、人間たちが欲張って、禁忌の糸を紡ぎました。」

A human speech bubble:

『星の向こう側にある、もっと眩しい光が見たい!』

The atmosphere should be slightly humorous at first glance, but unsettling underneath.

## Panel 3

A dramatic visual climax.

The light of the universe begins melting together like colorful marble or liquid paint.

The five stars are being torn apart from their constellation.

Show the stars crying and falling in different directions.

Their individual colors are mixing together chaotically.

The constellation that was once beautiful is now broken.

The sky itself looks distorted and unstable.

The image should feel beautiful, tragic, and surreal rather than violent.

Japanese narration:

「そのせいで空のバランスはガタガタに崩れ、光はぐちゃぐちゃに混ざり合って、
星たちは自分がどの星座の星だったのか、名前さえ忘れてしまいました」

Use strong diagonal composition and dynamic motion to show the stars falling apart.

## Panel 4

A lonely and slightly humorous scene.

Show three of the lost stars wandering through a vast dark universe.

Each star should represent a different fate:

* One star has stopped glowing and looks exhausted.
* One star is hiding behind the shadow of another enormous star.
* One star is extremely far away, almost disappearing into the darkness.

They should look cute but deeply lonely.

The enormous empty space around them should emphasize isolation.

Japanese narration:

「星たちはバラバラに落ちて、暗い夜をさまよいました。
ある星は光るのをやめ、
ある星は別の星の影に隠れ、
またある星は、冷たい宇宙のずーっと遠くへ消えてしまいました」

The humor should come from the visual expressions of the stars, but the overall feeling must remain sad.

## Panel 5

Return to a quiet, intimate scene.

A small girl stands alone beneath a strange night sky.

She is looking upward and praying.

Above her is a mysterious double moon:
two overlapping moons, slightly offset from one another.

The moonlight illuminates her face.

The sky contains faint traces of the five lost stars.

The scene should feel sacred, quiet, lonely, and hopeful.

The girl clasps her hands together as she prays.

Japanese dialogue:

『たとえ世界が白く消えちゃっても、
あの子たちの光だけは守って。
いつかまたみんなが出会って、
正しい星座を結び直せますように』

Make this panel visually beautiful and emotionally powerful.

Use lots of negative space and soft moonlight.

## Panel 6

Return completely to the bedroom.

The picture book closes with a soft "paton" sound.

Ai is lying in bed.

Beside her, the gentle older brother smiles warmly.

The room is quiet.

Through the window, the night sky is visible.

The double moon from Panel 5 can be subtly visible outside the window, creating the feeling that the story may not have been merely a fairy tale.

The older brother's expression should be kind and reassuring, but there should be a tiny hint of mystery in his eyes.

Japanese dialogue:

「――……。
ふふ、でも、今日のお話はここまで。
続きはまた、次の朝が来たらね。」

Then a final quiet narration box:

「窓の外は、まだ静かな夜のままだから。」

Finally, the older brother gently says:

「おやすみ、アイ」

End the page with a warm but mysterious feeling.

## Visual consistency

Keep the same:

* Ai's face
* Ai's hairstyle
* Ai's pajamas
* older brother's face
* older brother's hairstyle
* five stars' colors and personalities
* double moon design

throughout the entire page.

The five stars should remain visually identifiable even when their constellation breaks apart.

The final panel should visually echo the first panel, creating a circular storytelling structure.

## Manga lettering

Use Japanese manga-style speech bubbles and narration boxes.

Do not replace Japanese dialogue with English.

Do not add unrelated dialogue.

Do not add extra characters.

Do not add extra panels.

Exactly 6 panels.

Prioritize readable Japanese text, clear panel separation, expressive faces, cinematic composition, and consistent character design.
